Input = Output

What did you have for breakfast today? Or, did you eat breakfast? Will what you ate for breakfast sustain you until a snack mid-morning or are you skipping the snack and going hours until lunch? As the title of this blog suggests, what you put into your body equals what you will get out in terms of energy & brain power.

Eating the wrong foods or better yet, skipping meals is like not changing the oil in your car. You think you’re fine for awhile but eventually you burn-out causing damage to the vehicle or in this case, your body. At least with a car, you can take the loss and get a different car. Not so with our bodies. We get one and one only. If we wouldn’t skip oil changes for your car, why then do we skip meals or choose to eat processed, GMO, fast-food to eat knowing we only have one body? Don’t you want to protect the very vehicle that is going to carry you throughout your entire life and be the vehicle that helps you achieve your daily activities?

It has been proven that it takes 21 days to create a new habit and have it “stick”. That being said, challenge yourself to eat 3 healthy meals and 2 healthy snacks per day for 21 days. Take note of how you feel each day, productivity wise. Who knows, after those 21 days, you just might want to continue eating that way because you find your output is feeling pretty darn good!
